Yes, this is better than Kentucky Fried Chicken. This is Korean Fried Chicken, and it's the best kept secret of Korean cuisine. I was pretty blown away by the incredible flavors and crispiness of Vons chicken wings. I had the seasoned spicy chicken wings and it was a beautifully sweet 'n' hot experience. So delicious. I've heard amazing things about the garlic wings, so that'll be next. Very high quality fried chicken and a must-try in Honolulu.

Jesus Devonte Christ, this was amazing. I knew when I saw that picture this was about to be some fire and it did not disappoint. The boneless garlic chicken meal was more than enough to split between my fat self and my fat spouse...we didn't really need the fries but I am sho nuff glad I ordered them. I could eat a garbage bag full of those fries alone. Just moved to Hawaii and this will definitely be a regular spot. Can't imagine anything tasting bad there after the meal I had today. Mmm mmm good. And the owner was very kind and welcoming too!

The best Korean style fried chicken on the island. The wings are crispy and juicy. I've never been disappointed by this place. I usually get the Crispy spicy wing or the crispy shoyu.

Mini chicken plate: kinda pricey, mostly rice, but it was tasty, the chicken was crispy & flavored well, and it filled my belly.

It's usually a quick 15-minute wait from order to pick up, and the satisfaction is guaranteed. Personally, I'm all about the Snow Wing - it's the flavor champion, in my book.

The Von's I usually order from was closed, so I got delivery from this location for the first time. The snow wings were soul-satisfying, as they always have been. It's good to find consistency of quality in different franchise locations. I continue to yearn for just a bit more cheese, though. But then they lost me with the mandoo. There was no option for "no sauce," just "regular," "mild," and " spicy." I didn't want any sauce but selected mild. They took great care to vent the container so the mandoo wouldn't get limp and soggy. Then they completely undermined that effort. Foolish me for assuming the sauce would be on the side. Instead, the mandoo were drenched in this sickly sticky and slightly sweet sauce. My taste buds were not amused. I don't care for them but I won't waste food, either. Should I order mandoo from here again, I will write in a special request for NO SAUCE.

Whenever my hubby and I crave chicken wings, our thoughts go to Vons Chicken. Now, there are several locations in town, and just as a point of information, the pricing varies from location to location. We go to this location because, between the one in Waikiki, the location in Palama Market off Kalakaua, and this one, the location on Pensacola Street, is the lowest priced. It's one of our favorite items for tailgates. I gave this location 4 stars because parking is a challenge, and sometimes the person who answers the phone when we call in an order sounds like it's a hassle to take the order. With that said, we still love the wings, and honestly, anywhere you go, wings can be pretty pricey. So we have tried several different flavors, but our fav is the crispy shoyu chicken. Now, it is crisp, not your local-style plate lunch shoyu chicken. You've got to try it to understand the difference. It is finger-licking, lip-smacking good! The location is no-frills, so don't expect anything fancy. There is no sitting area, and parking can be a challenge. It is one of those hole-in-the-wall places that is worth a try.

We was in the area and wife was craving nag for some good chicken wings. Our first time for this location but been to the others. We love there style of fried chicken wings. They have a few flavors to choose from and they are really good. There always made to order and always fresh and hot. There is a bit of a wait since they make it fresh all the time. This place is nice and fairly renovated. It's a little small but due to its location this place would consider just be a take out order and not really a dine in like most of the restaurants I've been to. I notice they even have a bento menu few days of the week.

Vons Chicken on Pensacola Street. Order ahead for less wait time, and there's limited street parking. Always hot and fresh and deliciously coated with a good amount of coating.
